6 Types of Superhero Stories: Expanding the Palate!

I wanted to show that, like all genres, there are different types of stories to tell in the superhero movie genre. Whether we call these sub-genres or even just “different flavors,” there is a larger tapestry for a singular genre like this. They don’t all have to be the same thing (which they unfortunately tend to be). I hope this sort of perspective can help newer audiences to this genre realize that superhero movies can be far more than just cookie-cutter blockbusters with paper-thin plots.
